Alizabeth Mercurio

Alizabeth Mercurio is an experienced educator and digital innovation leader with a focus on elementary education. At Peninsula School District, Alizabeth served as a Building Digital Innovation Leader and a 1st Grade Teacher, delivering standards-based instruction while fostering social-emotional growth in students. Previous roles include Building Substitute Teacher and Substitute Teacher, where Alizabeth adapted lessons to meet diverse learner needs. Prior to education, Alizabeth worked as a Commission Sales Associate at The Garden Room and Home, providing personalized customer service, and as a Marketing Specialist and HR Assistant at Mercurio's Heating & Air Conditioning, where relationship building and outreach were key responsibilities. Alizabeth holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Washington State University and is pursuing a Master’s in Educational Technology and Instructional Design at Western Governors University.
