Derek Maltz

Derek Maltz possesses extensive experience in law enforcement and business strategy, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Global Business Growth and Strategy and Executive Director at Penlink from August 2014 to January 2025. Previously, Derek Maltz held multiple key positions at the Drug Enforcement Administration from July 2002 to May 2025, including Acting Administrator and Director of the Special Operations Division, where responsibilities encompassed managing a law enforcement operational coordination center involving 30 agencies to combat transnational threats. Additionally, Derek Maltz served as Chief of the New York Drug Enforcement Task Force, overseeing the largest division within the DEA with over 800 employees and a $10 million budget. An alumnus of Syracuse University, Derek Maltz earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, while also being a member of the 1983 NCAA Championship Lacrosse Team.
