Laura Van Loh has been working in the creative industry for over 20 years. Laura began their career as a Copywriter at Ketchum Advertising in 1997. In 1998, they moved to Saatchi & Saatchi as a Senior Interactive Writer where they created banners, wrote content for Toyota.com, and concepted and executed microsites for individual models. In 2002, they began freelancing as a Senior Interactive Writer at RPA. In 2004, they joined DDB Los Angeles as a Senior Writer. In 2007, they joined Penn Digital as a Creative Director and Writer, where they were seasoned in Interactive, Print, Merchandising, and TV. Laura concepted campaigns with an Art Director partner and wrote copy. In 2008, they took on a freelance role as an Associate Creative Director and Writer at Kaiser Permanente, where they helped head up Kaiser's Brand Creative Group and managed 14 creatives. Laura launched Open Enrollment campaigns and created original work for regional facilities. In 2012, they joined Beachbody as a Senior Writer. Finally, in 2018, they returned to Penn Digital Inc. as a Creative Director.
Laura Van Loh has a diverse educational background. Laura began their studies in 1989 at the University of North Texas, where they earned a degree in Journalism & Marketing with a focus on Advertising, Marketing, Business, and Creative Writing. Laura then attended the Portfolio Center in 1995-1996, earning a degree in Advertising with a focus on Writing. In 1996-1997, they attended The Creative Circus and earned a Professional degree in Writing with a focus on Concepting and creating ad campaigns. Finally, from 1998-2009, they attended UCLA Extension and earned a Writer's Extension Program degree with a focus on Screenplay, short story, sitcom, and humorous prose.
