Christopher Kovski has an extensive work experience in human resources and legal fields. Christopher currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Penn Highlands Healthcare, where they oversee various HR functions. Prior to this, they held the position of System Director, Human Resources and Labor Relations at the same organization.
Previously, Christopher worked as the Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Level Advisor at Graham Holdings Company | Graham Healthcare Group, where they played a vital role in M&A integration and joint venture planning. Prior to their career in HR, Christopher worked as a Partner at ELDERKIN LAW FIRM, where they specialized in complex litigations, arbitrations, and negotiations. Christopher provided legal advice on personnel issues and conducted union avoidance seminars.
Christopher Kovski, JD, MBA, MHA has a diverse education history. Christopher obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree with a focus on Labor and Employment Law from Arizona State University in 1995. In 2013, they earned a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from Ohio University. Christopher also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications from Mercyhurst University.
Furthermore, Christopher Kovski is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, expected to be completed in 2022.
Apart from their educational achievements, they have obtained certifications such as the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in 2015, and they are also certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Additionally, they hold other professional certifications, including the SPHR from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
