Valerie Nance

Valerie Nance, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Human Resources Director at Penn Hills Charter School of Entrepreneurship since July 2018, where significant contributions include hiring and onboarding for multiple positions at the start of the school year. Nance's prior experience includes roles as an HR Generalist at Arch Masonry and The Buncher Company, supporting various HR functions such as talent sourcing, onboarding, and HR project management. Nance also has a background in insurance as an Agency Owner at Farmers Insurance, focusing on customer service and sales. Earlier roles at Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh encompassed positions from Human Resources Assistant to Employment Manager, where Nance was involved in new employee orientation and recruitment processes.
