Troy Johnson has extensive experience in the human services field, currently serving as a Direct Support Professional at Penn-Mar Human Services since May 2021. Previously, Troy worked as a Community Living Assistant at Forward Visions from June 2015 to May 2021, and had a brief tenure with The Arc Baltimore as a Direct Support Professional in 2018. Troy's background also includes over two decades at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) as a Sterile Processing Technician from September 1993 to April 2014. Troy's educational background includes attending Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical High School, where studies focused on Electrical Construction and Maintenance.

Founded in 1981, Penn-Mar serves nearly 2,000 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities each year through community living, day learning, customized employment, family and peer supports, and respite programs. Penn-Mar provides services in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
