Alyssa Moreno

Alyssa Moreno has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to the present. Alyssa began their career as a Payroll Assistant at Restaurant Support Corporation, where they assisted with payroll for multiple Burger King locations. In 2008, they transitioned to working as a Barista at Cosi, where they eventually became an Hourly Manager. From 2010 to 2011, Alyssa worked as an Accounting Intern at Aloysius Butler & Clark. Following that, they had an Actuary Internship at MetLife - ALICO, where they gained experience in actuarial valuation systems and provided assistance to senior executives. In 2012, Alyssa joined Penn Mutual and started as an Actuarial Analyst, with rotations in the Valuation and In-force Management departments. Alyssa continued to progress in their career at Penn Mutual, serving as a Senior Actuarial Analyst, Manager & Actuary, and currently holds the position of Director & Actuary. In their current role, they lead a team responsible for various actuarial functions related to life modeled reserves and reinsurance reserves. Alyssa possesses expertise in Principle-Based Reserves (PBR) for life products and has developed models and tools to implement PBR into the company's life product portfolio.

Alyssa Moreno graduated from the University of Delaware in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Mathematics, and Economics.
