Dylan Pavliv

Dylan Pavliv, FSA, MAAA, CERA, is an experienced actuary currently serving as AVP Actuary at Symetra since June 2025, focusing on RILA pricing. Prior to this role, Dylan held the position of Director & Actuary at Brighthouse Financial from August 2020 to June 2025, and served in various actuarial capacities at Equitable from January 2016 to August 2020, including Lead Manager and Senior Manager in ALM/Financial Risk Management, as well as Manager in Life Metrics and Lead Associate in Model Risk Management. Earlier experiences include actuarial internships at Equitable and Humana, and roles as a research assistant at the University of Michigan and a teaching assistant at Mathnasium. Dylan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Math with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Michigan between 2013 and 2015.
