Bill Reid

Bill Reid has a strong background in software engineering. Bill began their career as a Software Development Consultant at Alacrity, where they worked on a new version of a client's web application. Here, they utilized .Net Core in C#, Entity Framework Core, and PostgreSQL on AWS. After this role, they joined eMoney Advisor, LLC as a Sr. Software Engineer and worked there for over a decade. In this role, they gained extensive experience in software development. Following their time at eMoney Advisor, they briefly worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Advisor Innovation Labs before joining Penn Mutual as a Lead Software Engineer for their Leap Systems application. Here, they are responsible for product development, mentoring, code reviews, and making technology choices. Bill primarily works with Java, Spring Boot, REST, Knockout, Angular, and Cypress for test automation using Agile methodology.

Bill Reid earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
