Shubhra Karmakar

Shubhra Karmakar has a diverse work experience in the software industry. They started their career in 2000 as a Software Engineer at Suvi Information Systems and worked there until 2002. In 2005, they joined Fox Chase Cancer Center as a Programmer/Analyst-II and remained there until 2008. During that time, they also worked as a Programmer Analyst at the Channing Laboratory (Harvard Medical School) for a brief period in 2008. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a Software Developer at Health Market Science. Since 2012, they have been working at Penn Mutual, starting as a Sr. Software Developer, then promoted to Lead Software Developer, and currently hold the position of Director, Software Architecture.

Shubhra Karmakar holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya. They later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from Western Michigan University, completing it in 2005.
