Mark Fitzgerald

Mark Fitzgerald is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in surety and fidelity underwriting. Currently serving as Vice-President of Surety and Fidelity at Penn National Insurance since April 2012, Mark delivers strategic results and manages all Home Office and Field Operations. Previous roles include Vice-President and Chief Underwriting Officer at Hanover Insurance, where Mark oversaw the nationwide underwriting process, and Managing Director at CNA Surety, where Mark established a New York office for complex surety risks. With a career spanning over four decades, Mark has held senior leadership positions at Gulf Insurance, Willis of New York, and Johnson & Higgins, showcasing a strong background in underwriting operations and business development. Mark holds a BA and BS in Economics and Environmental Studies from the University of Connecticut.
