Kate Rawson

Kate Rawson, M.Ed, currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity at Penn State University since August 2022. Prior experience includes roles such as Community Health Educator and LGBTQ Victim Services Specialist at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from November 2020 to August 2022, and Campus LGBTQ+ Advocacy & Training Coordinator from June 2018 to September 2020. Additionally, Kate held positions at Greensboro College as a First Year Experience Graduate Intern and at Guilford College as a Student Leadership & Engagement Graduate Intern. Earlier experience includes roles at Appalachian State University and Catawba County Community Schools. Kate earned a Master’s Degree in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Appalachian State University.
