Melissa Doberstein

Melissa Doberstein currently serves as the Director of the Presidential Leadership Academy at Penn State, overseeing its planning, implementation, and curriculum development since March 2009. Additionally, Melissa has held multiple roles at Penn State University, including Director of Health and Wellness for the Schreyer Honors College and FitWell Instructor, where teaching responsibilities encompass various fitness programs. Melissa previously coordinated diversity outreach and education as Chair of the Schreyer Honors Diversity Council and served as an Admissions Officer and Residence Life Coordinator. Melissa holds an Ed.M. in Student Affairs Administration and a B.A. in Political Science from the University at Buffalo. Certifications include NETA Total Body Conditioning, Schwinn Cycling, and CPR/AED.
