Mark Atherton

Mark Atherton has a strong background in IT and project management. Mark began their career in 2003 at Peter Brett Associates, where they worked in various IT roles before eventually becoming the Head of IT and Office Services. In 2011, they joined Baker Associates Consultants and Roger Tym & Partners as the Head of IT. Since 2017, Mark has been working at Penningtons Manches Cooper LLP, where they started as an IT & Business Change Manager and has since advanced to the positions of Head of Projects, Head of Technology Platform & Projects, and currently serves as the IT Director.

Mark Atherton attended Forest School in Wokingham from 1996 to 2003, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. In terms of additional certifications, Mark obtained the following qualifications: Management of Portfolios Foundation and Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice in January 2023, AgilePM 2014 Foundation and Practitioner from APMG International in August 2017, Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in October 2016, and Microsoft Certified Professional - Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 from Microsoft in February 2013.
