Christopher Hopkins

Christopher Hopkins has a diverse work experience in the field of media and communications. Christopher began their career as an intern at WVIA Public Media Studios in 2009, followed by an internship at the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber in 2010. Christopher then worked as a Social Media Director at Zebra Communications from 2009 to 2011. In 2012, Christopher joined The Sentinel as a Sports Reporter, and later became the Sports Editor in 2013. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an Assistant Editor and Web Manager at Central Penn Parent magazine. Since 2016, Christopher has been working at PennLive.com as the Social Media Director and Trending Editor, where they manage a team and oversees all of the company's social platforms. Christopher is responsible for generating high engagement numbers, optimizing content for SEO, creating engaging videos and graphics, and producing content for e-newsletters.

Christopher Hopkins attended Wilkes University from 2007 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies.
