Laurel Perkins

Laurel Perkins is an Associate Structural Engineer at Pennoni, where work commenced in August 2021 following a role as Graduate Structural Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the ATLSS Structural Engineering Research Center and Lehigh University, focusing on the use of phase change materials in pervious concrete. Earlier, Laurel gained practical experience as a Civil Engineering Intern at Acorn Engineering, Inc., conducting stormwater and erosion control inspections, and as an Assembly Technician at Avo Photonics, where responsibilities included system assembly and performance analysis. Laurel holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University, earned in 2021, and a high school diploma from Pennsbury High School, completed in 2017.
