Waleska Torres Martinez has extensive experience as a Retail Store Manager for over 20 years at The Body Shop. Waleska also worked as a Team Leader at Aveda. Currently, Waleska serves as a Secretary at Pennsauken Public Schools. Waleska holds an Associates Degree in Court Reporting/Court Reporter from Court Reporting Institute and New Orleans Technical Institute.

The Township of Pennsauken, Camden County, New Jersey is 12.2 square miles. Officially formed in 1892, Pennsauken Township is an active, involved, and very diverse community of approximately 35,000 residents. The community takes great pride in promoting the town’s long history. The Pennsauken Public Schools serve over 5,000 students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 in one early childhood center, seven elementary schools, an intermediate school, a middle school and a comprehensive high school. Students and their families are supported by a staff of over 450 professionals and an additional 360 full and part-time support staff. The District is governed by a nine-member Board of Education. Board members are elected by public vote in November in staggered three-year terms.
