Ashley McCahan

Ashley McCahan has a diverse work experience in the Pennsylvania government and legislative sector. Ashley currently holds the position of Managing Director, Legislation & Policy at the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, which they started in May 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs at The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services from October 2019 to April 2022.

Ashley's earlier experience includes a role as the Executive Director of the Human Services Committee at the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from January 2013 to October 2019, where they also worked as a Media Specialist from May 2006 to January 2013.

Before their time in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Ashley worked as a Communications Specialist at the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development from July 2005 to April 2006.

Ashley McCahan attended Millersville University of Pennsylvania from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communications/Public Relations.
