James J. Newhard

James J. Newhard, CPA, has extensive experience in the field of public accounting and professional education. Since January 2020, James has served as a CPE Presenter for CPA PROBLEM SOLVERS LLC, focusing on local taxes, accounting and auditing, and ethics for practitioners. As the Owner-Practitioner of JAMES J. NEWHARD, CPA since November 1986, James operates a full-service niche CPA firm offering a range of services including tax, advisory, accounting, and customized attest services. Additionally, James has been involved with the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) since 1981, contributing to various committees and serving as chapter president. From January 2010 to December 2022, James was also a CPE Instructor for the Loscalzo Institute, specializing in topics such as accounting, financial reporting, and ethics. James previously held the position of Treasurer for the Paoli Business & Professional Association from 2009 to 2011 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rider University.
