Bailey Markowski currently serves as Associate Staff Counsel for the Pennsylvania State Education Association, a role commenced in August 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President for the Labor and Employment Law Association at Moritz from April 2022 to May 2023, and as Managing Editor for The Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law from August 2021 to May 2023. Legal externships include positions at the Ohio Education Association and the U.S. Department of Labor, along with a Peggy Browning Fellowship at Sherman Dunn Cohen Leifer. Additionally, Bailey has served as a Research Assistant at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and completed a judicial externship at the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court. Before entering the legal field, Bailey gained experience in guest services and gameday security for the Cleveland Guardians and Schottenstein Center. Education includes a law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, completed in May 2023, along with an undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University from 2016 to 2020. Bailey completed high school at Parma High School.

PSEA represents the labor, policy, and professional interests of 178,000 public school teachers and education support professionals, staff in state higher education institutions, nurses in health care facilities, retired educators, and college students preparing to become teachers.
