David Constantin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. David started their career as a Freelance Writer/Photographer for Eugene Weekly in 2005. David then worked in different editorial positions at Drum Magazine from 2007 to 2013, starting as an Assistant Editor and eventually becoming the Managing Editor. In 2013, they joined Funny Or Die as a Copywriter and Editor before transitioning to the role of Senior Manager, Social Media. From 2016 to 2018, they served as the Head of Social Media and Editorial Content at Gfycat. In 2018, they briefly worked as a Digital Editor at Fortune Magazine before joining Learning for Justice as a Writer. Currently, David Constantin holds the position of Assistant Director of Communications at Pennsylvania State Education Association, where they started in 2020.
David Constantin obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they studied from 1999 to 2001. David then pursued a Master of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon, attending from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their educational background, David Constantin has obtained several certifications. These include "Preventing Discrimination & Harassment: US Employees V4.1" from Traliant in August 2023, "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" from LinkedIn in April 2021, "USPA Coach Rating" from the U.S. Parachute Association (USPA) in April 2013, and the "SCUBA" certification from PADI in July 2005.

PSEA represents the labor, policy, and professional interests of 178,000 public school teachers and education support professionals, staff in state higher education institutions, nurses in health care facilities, retired educators, and college students preparing to become teachers. PSEA bargains compensation and benefits for members, protects their rights, and advocates for their professions. We are a strong voice for public education and working families in Pennsylvania. PSEA members share a common purpose, vision, values and goals. We advocate for public education, children, and our members’ professions, whether they are teachers, maintenance employees, nurses, retirees, custodians, secretaries, classroom aides, school psychologists or librarians. Members are PSEA. Members form a strong community of dedicated, caring professionals who support each other at the bargaining table, in the work place and in our communities. Members decide PSEA policy and direction.
