Rosemary Brown is a State Senator representing the 40th Senate District in the Pennsylvania State Senate since January 2023, covering Monroe, Lackawanna, and Wayne Counties. In this role, Rosemary serves as the Chair of the Local Government Committee and Vice-Chair of the Community, Economic, and Recreational Development Committee, while also being a member of several other committees, including Appropriations, Judiciary, Labor and Industry, Transportation, and Urban Affairs and Housing. Prior to this, Rosemary was a State Representative for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from January 2011 to November 2022, serving the 189th District, which includes Monroe and Pike Counties. Rosemary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Scranton, earned between 1988 and 1992.
