Peter Garland

Peter Garland has extensive experience in higher education administration, having served as Executive Vice Chancellor Emeritus, Executive Vice Chancellor, and Acting Chancellor at the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education from October 2006 to the present. Prior to that, Peter Garland was the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania State Board of Education from December 1993 to January 2002. Peter Garland's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Penn State University, a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from William & Mary, a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from William & Mary, and a Master of Arts in Political Science and Government from Penn State University.
