Kinet Becker

Director Of Special Education at PA Virtual Charter School

Kinet Becker has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of special education and behavioral support. Kinet began their career at Montgomery County Board of MR/DD, where they worked as an Early Intervention Instructor, teaching young children with special needs and developing individualized education plans. Kinet later became an Instructional Systems Specialist, providing consulting and coordination for behavioral and instructional programs in classrooms and public schools. In 2002, they joined Family Behavioral Resources as a Regional Director of Autism Services, where they developed comprehensive programming and training for staff to meet the needs of autistic individuals. Most recently, Kinet Becker held various positions at PA Virtual Charter School, including Special Education Teacher, Master Teacher of Special Education Placement, Assistant Director of Special Education Enrollment, and currently, Director of Special Education.

Kinet Becker has a Supervisor of Special Education Certification from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. They also hold a Validation degree in Education/Teaching of Individuals in Early Childhood Special Education Programs from the University of Dayton. In addition, Kinet has a Master of Education (MEd) in Reading, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Early Childhood Education and Teaching, and another Bachelor of Science (BS) in Elementary Education and Teaching, all from PennWest Clarion. Furthermore, Kinet also obtained a Certification in Supervisor of Special Education from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
