Laura Schoenmakers, CFA, currently serves as the Director of FP&A at Penny AI and trnd.io, where responsibilities include financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and managing financial operations. Laura has a solid background in finance, previously holding roles such as Head of Finance at Penny AI and VP of Finance at Mindset Venture Group Ltd, a private venture capital firm focused on early-stage investments. Other experiences include serving as a Strategic Advisor for Mantaro Capital Corp. and Business Administrator for Palagon. Laura holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Economics and Business Economics from Maastricht University School of Business and Economics and completed an exchange semester at Simon Fraser University.
