Sabine Heine

Sabine Heine has a diverse work experience. Sabine is currently the Head of Risk and Assurance at Pulsant since May 2023. From 2019 to 2023, they worked at KYOCERA Document Solutions UK as the Head of Governance and Standards, where they were responsible for compliance, governance, ISO standards, CSR programs, and GDPR compliance. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2019, they were the Governance Manager, Strategy and Regulation at Thames Water, overseeing governance and assurance submissions. Sabine also has extensive experience at Vodafone, where they held various roles in operational delivery, supply chain management, corporate strategy, integration analysis, and project management. Sabine started their career as a research assistant at the Marine Laboratory in Aberdeen and also worked as a fisheries technologist at the Irish Sea Fisheries Board. Sabine also interned at the European Commission in the Fisheries and Agriculture Directorate General.

Sabine Heine holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford, which they obtained between 1994 and 1997. Following that, they pursued an MSc in Marine & Fisheries Science at the University of Aberdeen from 1997 to 1998. In 2000 and 2001, they obtained another MSc, this time in Information Technology (Software and Systems) from the University of Glasgow. Additionally, they have acquired certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) from CQM Training and Consultancy Ltd in 2022, the National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from NEBOSH in 2021, and the Managing Safely certification from IOSH in 2019.
