Vaclav Sima

Vaclav Sima has extensive experience in property management and maintenance, particularly in the retail sector. Vaclav has worked as the Head of the Building department at Penny Market s.r.o., where they were responsible for property modernization, reconstructions, extensions, and cost control. Vaclav also played a key role in securing the highest quality standards and lowest costs by following the International TEK board strategy and internal tendering processes.

Prior to this, Sima served as a Real Estate Project Manager at IKEA for ten years. In this role, they were responsible for scouting, identifying, securing, and delivering approved sites for developing new IKEA stores. Vaclav also negotiated and secured all necessary planning permits for new stores and provided support to the Real Estate Asset Manager for major store extensions.

Before joining IKEA, Sima worked at Inter IKEA Centre Group as a tenant coordinator. In this position, they had the responsibility of coordinating construction work conducted by the Tenant's Construction company in specific projects and during remodeling projects. Vaclav also liaised with the construction and leasing departments and coordinated architectural/technical questions with the authorities.
