Tristan Fransen

Tristan Fransen is a seasoned professional in the field of machine learning and data science, currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Pennylane since March 2023. Prior to this position, Tristan held multiple roles at Shippeo, including Lead Data Scientist, where significant contributions were made to the development of Ocean ETA for container ships. Tristan's earlier experience includes roles as Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at Driveco, with a focus on intelligent charging solutions for electric vehicles. Educational qualifications include a Titre d’ingénieur diplômé from École Polytechnique, a Master in Sustainable Energy from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and a Post master program in International Energy Management from Mines Paris - PSL, among others. Additional research internships were completed at UC San Diego and ENSTA ParisTech, contributing to studies in fluid mechanics and ocean circulation.
