Darren Claypool

Darren Claypool has extensive experience in the mortgage lending industry. Darren started their career in 2005 as an Account Executive at Countrywide Wholesale Lending Division. Darren then moved to the Correspondent Lending Division of Countrywide where they played a crucial role in creating and growing a new unit. In 2009, they joined Bank of America Home Loans - Wholesale Lending Division as an Officer, Customer Support Unit Manager and later performed the role of Mortgage Loan Coordinator. In 2010, they transitioned to Bank of America Home Loans - Correspondent Lending Division as an Assistant Vice President, Consumer Product Strategy. In 2012, they joined Santa Barbara Bank & Trust N.A, Residential Lending Division as an Account Executive, where they excelled at managing specialty products and increasing pipeline performance. Their most recent role was as Senior Vice President Business Development at PennyMac Loan Services, LLC, where they were responsible for overseeing strategic business development.

Darren Claypool completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Central Oklahoma from 1996 to 1999. Darren then pursued their Masters of Arts degree in Experimental Psychology at the same university from 1999 to 2003.
