Michael Burak

Michael Burak is an accomplished professional in operations risk management and analytics with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently, at PENNYMAC since October 2018, Michael serves as the Product Owner for Operations Risk Management in Capital Markets, overseeing balance sheet reporting and collaborating with various departments to enhance data and reporting processes. Previously, Michael held key roles at Banc of California, where support was provided for Capital Markets pricing, and at Bank of America, where leadership was demonstrated in credit card performance measurement and reporting. Michael also has experience in launching end-user computing governance policies and managing the implementation of business rules for mortgage origination systems. Michael's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, specializing in Finance and Marketing.
