Samuel Hastings

Samuel Hastings has a wealth of work experience in various industries. From 2009 to 2008, they were a High School Teacher for Japan Exchange and Teaching Program, a Field Organizer for Obama for America, and an Interpreter/Translator for Amherst-Pelham Regional Public Schools. In 2014, they were an International Sales Representative for Nissan Trading Corporation USA. From 2017 to 2016, they were a Software Engineer for Forward Majority and Giving Assistant, where they were the Browser Extension Tech Lead. In 2021, they were a Software Engineer for GOAT Group. Finally, in 2020, they co-founded Pennywise Cash Back, where they owned all back end and front end technology and architecture.

Samuel Hastings obtained their Bachelor's degree in Language and Literature from Bard College between 2005 and 2009. Samuel then attended GalvanizeU from 2015 to 2016 to become a Full Stack Web Developer in Web Page, Digital/Multimedia and Information Resources Design. Samuel also holds a Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 2 certification from the Japanese Foundation & Japan Educational Exchanges and Services.
