Janet Wood

Janet Wood is a skilled professional with extensive experience in marketing, communications, and nonprofit management. Currently serving as Development Coordinator at Penquis CAP since December 2019, Janet specializes in grant writing and holds a certificate in Program Planning & Proposal Writing from The Grantsmanship Center. Previous roles include Communications Director at Tucson Association of REALTORS®, where Janet demonstrated leadership in marketing and public relations from December 2015 to December 2018, and Marketing Manager at IMPACT of Southern Arizona, focusing on resource connection for families and seniors from March 2013 to March 2015. Additionally, Janet held the position of Marketing Manager at World Care from March 2010 to March 2013 and managed the Newspapers In Education program at Arizona Daily Star from 1993 to 2009. Janet earned both an M.Ed. in Education/Media Production and a B.A. in Education from the University of Arizona.
