Gauri Yewale has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2016. Gauri started as a Software Developer at Crest (part of the Springer Nature group) where they led a team of 4 using the Agile methodology and successfully developed Virtual Vendor (ViV), for stage-wise book/journal package generation and processing. Gauri also designed A/B experiments to showcase the impact analysis report of product changes to stakeholders and developed trend analysis reports leveraging Tableau and MongoDB BI connector which depicted enhanced use of the automation system which increased the team's efficiency by 80%.

In 2019, they joined Hitachi Vantara as a Data Scientist where they spearheaded data preprocessing tasks in a cross-functional team of 8 which led to efficient data annotation, segmentation, and validation. Gauri also trained a deep learning model using Python, Keras, Tensorflow leveraging AWS GPU based AMI to overcome the massive scale of data. The model successfully classified defects in sewer pipes.

Also in 2019, Gauri joined GiftsLe as a Marketing Data Analyst. Gauri strategized KPIs, designed, and managed a Google Ad Search campaign with a budget of $250 to achieve the client’s goal to augment brand awareness and website traffic. Gauri also tracked, visualized and gained insights from Google Analytics metrics like bounce rate, avg. session duration, page views, and the conversion funnel.

Currently, Gauri is a Machine Learning Engineer at Pensa Systems.

Gauri Yewale obtained their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Maharashtra Institute of Technology between 2012 and 2016. Gauri then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Information Systems at the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, which they completed in 2019. Gauri also attended Auxilium Convent School between 1997 and 2010.
