Marc Hernandez

Marc Hernandez has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 1995. Theirmost recent role is Lead DevOps Engineer at Pensa Systems, which they began in 2021. Prior to this, they were Manager, Infrastructure Engineering and Senior Systems Architect at Mitel from 2018-2021. From 2017-2018, they were a Senior Software Engineer at CA Technologies, where they were instrumental in migrating an AWS/ECS enterprise SaaS security application to a hybrid AWS/OpenShift architecture. From 2013-2017, they were a DevOps Engineer/Lead QA Engineer at Spredfast, where they were responsible for software test planning, coordination, execution, and automation. From 2009-2013, they were a Factory Automation/Quality Assurance Consultant at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, where they were responsible for quality assurance of MES software and training new hires. From 2004-2009, they were a Factory Automation Software QA Engineer at Advanced Micro Devices, where they were responsible for development and use of test plans and tools for Factory Automation software and hardware in Silicon Manufacturing. Finally, from 1995-2004, they were a Lead System Administrator/Senior QA Lead at Eureka Software Solutions, Inc., where they were responsible for networking architecture, IT project consulting, IT management, web development, and software quality assurance.

Marc Hernandez completed their education history with a Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft in 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in Radio-Television-Film and a B.A. in Japanese from The University of Texas at Austin between 1991 and 1997. Marc also obtained a Vocal Music degree from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts between 1988 and 1991.
