Christine Johanson, CFA, serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Penserra since March 2023. Previously, Christine held the position of Director at BlackRock, managing custom portfolio solutions for institutional clients on the US Transition Management team. Christine's extensive experience at Russell Investments included roles as Head of Fixed Income Transition Management and Portfolio Manager, where strategies for portfolio transition trades were developed and executed for mutual funds and client accounts. Prior experience at BlackRock Alternative Advisors involved overseeing Hedge Fund trading activities and supporting portfolio managers in various analytical tasks. Christine's earlier roles at Boeing included revenue management decision support and participation in the Business Career Foundation Program. Christine holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and Banking from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has also studied at IPAG Business School.
