Fred Kagie

Fred Kagie has extensive experience in various leadership and governance roles within the public transportation and pension sectors. Currently serving as a bestuurslid at Pensioenfonds Rail & Openbaar Vervoer since April 2020, Fred is also the chair of the Pension and Communication Committee. Previously, Fred held significant positions including voorzitter and chief negotiator for the collective agreement in public transportation at the Vereniging Werkgevers Openbaar Vervoer until May 2023 and director of HRM at Qbuzz b.v. from 2009 to 2021. Additional leadership experience includes partnerships and directorships at Altersum and Bon Salon BV, as well as executive roles in FNV Bondgenoten and FNV Financieel Advies BV. Fred’s educational background includes advanced training in pension management and organizational improvement from reputable institutions.
