Stefan Thewissen

Stefan Thewissen is an experienced economist and advisor focused on sustainable and inclusive wellbeing, currently serving as an External Advisor to the Investment Committee at Pensioenfonds Zorg & Welzijn (PFZW), the second-largest Dutch pension fund. With a solid academic background including a PhD in Economics from Leiden University and postdoctoral research from the University of Oxford, Stefan has led significant research projects at CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis and previously worked as an Economist at the OECD. Additionally, Stefan has contributed to various prestigious institutions, including Harvard University and the World Bank Group, and has been involved in teaching executive programmes tailored for the pension sector at Nyenrode Business University.
