Evan Inglis has a diverse and extensive work experience in the actuarial and investment professions. Evan currently serves as the Chief Policy Actuary in the Policy Research and Analysis Department at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), where they previously held the role of Actuary. In addition, Evan has worked as a Senior Associate at the Global Aging Institute and as an Associate Director at D3P Global Pension Consulting.
Prior to these positions, Evan worked as an Independent Consultant at Pensions Retirement & Investments, where they utilized their actuarial and investment expertise to manage risk and develop solutions for clients. Evan also served as a Senior Actuary at Nuveen Investments, acting as a technical advisor and thought leader in liability-driven investment solutions for pension plans and institutional investors.
Furthermore, Evan has been an active member of the Society of Actuaries, where they held the position of Member on the Board of Directors. Evan has also served as the Chairperson of the Pension Finance Task Force, jointly sponsored by the Society of Actuaries and the American Academy of Actuaries.
Earlier in their career, Evan worked at Vanguard as a Principal and Chief Actuary, providing investment strategies for pension plans and serving as a resource for institutional clients. Evan also held various roles at Watson Wyatt, including Consulting Actuary and Director of Quality.
Throughout their career, Evan has been recognized as an expert in the field of actuarial science and has frequently presented and written articles on pension-related topics.
Evan Inglis holds a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from the University of Washington. Evan has also obtained certifications including EA from the Joint Board for the Enrollment of Actuaries, and is pursuing certifications including CFA from the CFA Institute and FSA from the Society of Actuaries.
