Alistair Roberts

Alistair Roberts has over 20 years of work experience, with their most recent role being Chief Technology Officer at Pension Insurance Corporation since 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Director of IT at M&C Saatchi from 2011 to 2016. Alistair also worked at Imperial College London as a Service Delivery Manager and Service Delivery and Link Manager from 2003 to 2011. Alistair held various positions at the University of Tasmania, including Head of IT Desktop & Client Services, Manager of Desktop Management Services, and IT Business Analyst from 1999 to 2002. Alistair started their career as a Systems Engineer at D. E. Shaw & Co. in 1998 and then served as a Help Desk Manager at the Department of Premier and Cabinet from 1996 to 1998.

Alistair Roberts obtained a B.A. degree in Information Technology, Geography, and History from the University of Tasmania in 1992-1994. Prior to that, they completed their matriculation from Hobart College in 1984-1985, where they studied Computer Science, Maths, Science, Economics, and English Literature. Alistair's earlier education was completed at Taroona High School from 1980 to 1983, without earning a specific degree. Alistair also holds additional certifications such as ITIL v3 Expert from ISEB in 2011, DSDM Atern Agile Project Management - Foundation from APM Group in 2010, ITIL v2 Service Manager from ISEB in 2010, and Prince2 Foundation from APMG International in 2004.
