Rachel Long

Rachel Long's work experience includes holding the role of Head of Actuarial Assurance at Pension Insurance Corporation plc since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at MBE Consulting as an Actuarial Director from July 2019 to June 2021, an Associate Actuarial Director in January 2019, and a Senior Actuarial Manager, IFRS 17 Lead from April 2017 to December 2018. Before MBE Consulting, Rachel worked at Retirement Advantage as a Special Projects Actuary from December 2013 to February 2017. Rachel also had experience as a Finance Actuary at Pacific Life Re from February 2013 to November 2013, and as an ALM Manager at ALICO from June 2007 to October 2012. Rachel's earlier experience includes roles as a Trading Desk Analyst at Trafigura from September 2004 to June 2007, and as an Investment Department Analyst at Shepherds Financial Limited in April 2004.

Rachel Long attended the University of Bristol from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics.
