Claire Lefort is a seasoned procurement and commercial management professional with extensive experience in both public and private sectors. Currently serving as Senior Commercial Manager at the Pension Protection Fund since May 2019, Claire has held significant roles including Commercial Manager and Category Manager at RSA, Procurement Manager at The Pensions Regulator, and Senior Procurement Officer at the Civil Aviation Authority. With a solid foundation in procurement processes and category management, Claire is MCIPS qualified and has successfully led various sourcing initiatives and competitive tenders, particularly in the finance and pensions sectors. Claire's earlier career includes a Buyer role at Johnson & Johnson and a Graduate Management Trainee position at Bakkavor, enhancing proficiency in supplier management and cross-functional teamwork. Claire holds a BSc.(Hons) in Animal Science with European Studies from the University of Nottingham.
