If a pension scheme’s employer becomes insolvent, and they can’t afford to pay their members their promised pensions, we’ll compensate them financially for the money they’ve lost. As a public corporation we manage £32 billion assets on behalf of our 249,000 members and it’s our mission is to pay the right people, the right amount at the right time.
