Rachael Oku has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Rachael started their career as a Founder and Editor of Creative-Bloc, a knowledge hub for freelance writers, where they provided advice and resources to help writers establish successful careers. Rachael later worked as a Social Content Lead at ZenithOptimedia, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver integrated campaigns for major FMCG brands. Rachael also held positions as a Digital Content Editor at HomeServe and Swinburne University of Technology, where they managed content development and SEO strategies. Rachael served as a Digital Content Editor at HomeServe and as a Freelance Content Editor at Seven Consultancy. At the British Business Bank, they were a Senior Manager of Digital Communications, leading the launch of their 'Finance Hub' and managing a team. Rachael co-founded House of Leopard, an online boutique and lifestyle brand, where they curated a selection of leopard print interiors products. Most recently, they were the VP of Brand and Communications at PensionBee, a leading online pension provider, where they aimed to make individuals pension confident by helping them take control of their pension savings.
Rachael Oku pursued their education at the University for the Creative Arts from 2005 to 2008. During this period, they completed a degree in Fashion Promotion, with a focus on Journalism, PR, and Styling.
