Doug Batezel has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Doug is currently Senior Vice President of Information Technology at The Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) since 2017. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director at Beneration, LLC from 2015 to 2017. Doug also spent a significant portion of their career at Independence Blue Cross, where they held several roles including Vice President of Sales Services from 2013 to 2015, Sr. Director of eBusiness & Marketing Services from 2006 to 2013, Director of Marketing Systems, Reporting & Incentive Programs from 2000 to 2006, Manager of Marketing Systems & Reporting from 1996 to 2000, Supervisor of Marketing Systems from 1995 to 1996, and Marketing Systems Information Analyst from 1993 to 1995. Doug began their career as a Direct Marketing Associate at SAP America in 1991 and then served as the Manager of Sales Support at DataPro/McGraw Hill from 1990 to 1991.

Doug Batezel holds a BA in Communications with a focus on Radio, Television, and Digital Communication from Temple University. Doug also has a Master's degree in Technology Management with a specialization in MS OD from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, they have obtained a Certificate in Business Engagement and the Information Security Professional Program from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a Certificate in Business Strategy and Leadership from The Wharton School.
