Michael Kabcenell has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Michael started their career at Penske Automotive Group in 2009 as a Management Trainee, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of the dealership. Michael then served as an eCommerce Director, responsible for online sales and marketing activities at five highline dealerships. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as the Manager of Internal Consulting and Business Development, focusing on business analytics, special projects, and best practice development. Michael later held the positions of Director of Strategic Initiatives and Business Development, and then Director of Digital Strategy, where they oversaw social media and digital initiatives across the company. In 2017, they were promoted to the role of Vice President of Retail and Digital Strategy, where they continue to drive strategic development and execution of digital initiatives. Before joining Penske Automotive, Michael held internship positions at Penske Automotive Group and Arthrex in 2006 and 2004 respectively.

Michael Kabcenell earned their Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Operations Engineering with Honors from the University of Michigan from 2005 to 2009. Michael then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 2012 to 2014, where they graduated with High Distinction. In 2014, they attended the Mitsui-HBS Global Management Academy at Harvard Business School Executive Education to further enhance their knowledge in Global Management and Leadership. Additionally, in 2010, they completed the NADA Dealer Management Academy, specializing in Automotive Retail Operations and Management.
