Mo Wehbi

Mo Wehbi has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2001, they worked as a Student Technician/Helpdesk Support - Sr. Level at Saginaw Valley State University until 2005. Mo then became a Network Analyst at Alpena Regional Medical Center from 2005 to 2007. Following that, they served as the Information Technology Director at Hank Graff Chevrolet-Davison from 2007 to 2012.

In 2012, Mo joined Penske Automotive Group and held multiple positions throughout the years. Mo started as an IT Support Center Manager from March 2012 to September 2015, then became an IT Project Manager from October 2015 to September 2018. From September 2018 to January 2021, they worked as a Director of Project Management. After that, they took on the role of Director of Information Security & PMO from January 2021 to January 2024. Currently, Mo is serving as the Vice President of Information Security & PMO at Penske Automotive Group since January 2024.

In addition to their roles at Penske Automotive Group, Mo Wehbi is also actively involved in various organizations. Starting in 2022, they became a Board Member for the ISACA Detroit Chapter and the Cybersecurity Collaboration Forum. In 2023, they joined the Cloud Security Alliance as a Board Member.

Mo Wehbi has a diverse education history. They earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Saginaw Valley State University in 2003. Later, in 2005, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Multimedia and Communications from the same university. In 2011, Mo Wehbi pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Michigan, specializing in Business and Management. Additionally, they attended the SIM Regional Leadership Forum (RLF) in 2017 for leadership development. Furthermore, Mo Wehbi has acquired multiple certifications. In 2012, they became a Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA) and in 2014, obtained an ITIL Certification in Service Management. Their most recent certification is the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², which they obtained in April 2022.
