Julio Villane Sansarricq

Julio Villane Sansarricq has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Julio is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Guou Finance since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Penta Financiero S.A. as the Chief Innovation Officer and Full Stack Developer Leader from September 2020 to September 2022. Julio also has experience as the Chief Executive Officer at Tres Ases from November 2020 to the present. Julio served as the Chief Product Officer at Patagonia IT from April 2016 to July 2020. Before that, they worked at Universidad de Chile as the Subdirector de Desarrollo y Entrega de Servicios TI and Jefe Área de Arquitectura de Aplicaciones y Diseño. Other positions they held include Arquitecto de Sistemas at Mosaq Consultores Ltda, Director de Tecnología y Gerente I&D at Blue Mind Consultorías y Asesorías, Jefe Sección TIC at IDIEM, and Ingeniero de Desarrollo at Tecnova.

Julio Villane Sansarricq earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad de Chile, where they studied from 2002 to 2008. Julio specialized in technology and graduated with the degree of Ingeniero Civil en Computación.

In February 2019, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In June 2018, they completed the GCP Essentials certification from Qwiklabs. Their dedication to continuous learning was reflected in their completion of the Data Science and Big Data Analytics: Making Data-Driven Decisions certification from MIT xPRO in March 2019. Most recently, in December 2021, they became an AWS Certified Developer – Associate through Amazon Web Services (AWS).
