Javier Montero is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in security and K9 handling. Currently serving as a K9 Handler and Federal Police Officer at the Pentagon Force Protection Agency since January 2010, Javier Montero is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Department of Defense facilities in the National Capital Region. Duties include perimeter security, vehicle and foot patrols, responding to emergencies, conducting preliminary crime investigations, and managing traffic control. Prior to this role, Javier Montero worked as a K9 Explosive Detection Handler at Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. from June 2006 to December 2010 and served as a Primary Marksmanship Instructor and Infantryman in the United States Marine Corps from May 1998 to June 2006. Education was completed at Park University.
