Debra Hampson

Debra Hampson has over 25 years of work experience in various roles. Debra began their career in 1994 as an Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers. In 2001, they joined ActewAGL as an Assistant Financial Controller in the Water division, and later held the roles of Group Accounting Manager and Corporate Services Financial Controller. In 2012, they moved to ACTEW Corporation Ltd. as a Management Accounting Manager, and then in 2013 they became Manager, Financial Performance at Icon Water. In 2019, they took on the role of Director, Financial Reporting and Compliance at Defence Housing Australia, and in 2021 they became Director Air Force Budgets and Reporting at the Australian Department of Defence. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as Group Financial Controller at Penten.

Debra Hampson completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia between 1995 and 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Business/Commerce, General from The Australian National University between 1991 and 1993.
