Shannon Byrnes

Shannon Byrnes has over 13 years of experience in the finance industry. Shannon began their career in 2008 as an Accountant at Beames and Associates Accounting & Financial Services Pty Ltd. In 2011, they joined Defence Housing Australia as a Financial Accountant, followed by roles as Manager, Revenue, Manager, Accounting Services, Financial Controller, Developments, and Director, Finance Business Partners. In 2017, they were appointed Chief Operating Officer at DHA Investment Management Limited. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Penten as Head of Finance Business Partnering.

Shannon Byrnes completed a CPA Grad Dip in Accounting and Finance from the CPA Australia Program between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce & Asian Studies from The Australian National University between 2004 and 2008, with a focus on Business/Commerce, General.
